Program Notes: 7 Seconds of Love explores the emotions that arise when discovering you love somebody: happiness, excitement, curiosity, doubt, anxiety, sadness, fear; as well as the memories, the tears, the mourning, the simple and fulfilling sensation of saying someone’s name. This work explains how vital the human voice is to the composer; how its sound makes him breathe and, sometimes, even sigh. It is in his hope that people feel the power of having a moment of peace and concentrate on feeling how much love can work through if they let it.
