Program Notes: I always say I am a a singer first and then a composer . My voice is that one constant that I keep trying to understand (and trust!). I wrote "Mi Voz" after a successful season of trusting the presence of my voice (both sung, spoken, and even as a composer).

I never want to brag or be seen as arrogant. At the same time, I want to be able to hold space to recognize that what we do can have such a positive impact and that my voice and yours together has tremendous power.
