Program Notes: Let the Earth Be Fruitful is the setting of the text Rorate Caeli, translated to English. This composition taught me how exposed one is when asking for something needed. I wanted to create a simple piece, as the text shows itself without any barrier. I dedicate this piece to Ben May, a dear friend from my time in University of Houston, Moores School of Music, for his support to me, to my music, and for his friendship.

Text: Let the earth be fruitful
and bring forth a savior
Drop down, ye heavens from above
and let the skies pour down righteousness.
