I am Getting Married Next Month!

**I made this post back in August 2019 in my previous blog. Now (November 2019), I am married and it’s a crazy adventure! I am looking forward to keep sharing myself with all of you.**

I have not shared here in my blog a lot about my personal life. However, I want to change that because I believe that what makes an artist is his or her life. The every day activities and people that surround us have so much effect on what we do. We don’t even realize. If you still doubt it, read this post.

I have to say that meeting and loving my fiancé, Ryan Heller is a journey I searched for a long time. Have you met him? You would love him too. He is the most kind and generous person. He is such a gentleman and I am lucky that we choose to love each other more every day. So much that we are getting married next month!

It’s all about community

This wedding would not be possible without the help of Portland friends (Allison and Krista) who have keep us on track to have a wonderful day to celebrate our love. I give you so many details because thanks to all of these things, I am able to do what I do every day.

If I had not met Ryan, I would not have written so many of the pieces I love today. If I did not have the help of Allison and Krista, I would have not been able to plan the wonderful wedding with so many details or have the time to do things like attending this blog. Ryan also does a lot of the wedding details because, well, he speaks better English haha but also because he knows how much time I am putting into my career and how many changes are in my life at the moment.

What is happening now besides getting married?

I just finished school last December and decided to pursue my long-time fear: a career as a full-time composer. You can read here how it is going. It is exactly what I thought it would be: a lot of work and uncertainty. I am happy to report that it is also very rewarding and exciting. I am working my best to enjoy it more every day.

Visualizing this wedding while handling a full time career is a huge challenge. I could not do it by myself. I am happy that I get to share all my feelings with an incredible supportive man who can cook the most delicious comforting food in the world. He accepts my emotional self, my ideas, my jokes, and my oatmeal inventions.

I am getting married to Ryan James Heller and even though I am not spamming the internet or telling every person I met how excited I am, I can’t wait to spend my life with this guy!
