Balloons – Poem by Carlos Cordero

I want to learn to draw balloons
And then paint them
—Cut, paste—
Create a big collage
Of colored balloons
All over my wall
They will represent
My joys, my tears
My experiences
I would keep drawing
As I keep living
Different colors and sizes
Balloons floating and smiling.
